ROB MCLEESE
Founder & Chair
ROB MCLEESE
Robert McLeese is the President and Founder of Access Capital Corp., a company dedicated to independent power project financing and development. Along with his late father, Willis McLeese, Rob began developing a portfolio of sustainable energy projects in the 1980s providing primarily small and medium-sized companies the funding and development support needed to invest in environmental projects. Their leadership has facilitated significant advances in the sustainable energy sector. In 2011, they were awarded the Stephen Probyn Prize for Innovation in Energy.
In 1998 Rob’s father Willis McLeese purchased the land and started the development of Cobble Beach, Georgian Bay’s Extraordinary Waterfront Golf Resort Community. Both Willis and Robert saw the possibilities that one day Cobble Beach Golf Resort would host a prestigious Concours event on the cobblestone adorned shores of Cobble Beach. (Willis did business in California and loved the Pebble Beach resort.) The McLeese vision, to see a wonderful promenade of beautiful antique and classic cars parading down Cobble Beach Drive to the elegant Clubhouse, would be a magnificent and magical sight not only for those viewing the automobiles but also for those driving the pieces of art. This gave birth to the concept of the Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Rob’s deep commitment to renewable resources and sustainable development is entrenched in all areas of his life, including his passion for Cobble Beach Golf Resort Community near Owen Sound, Ontario. The 574-acre property puts sustainability and the environment at the forefront, with a five-star Inn and Clubhouse that employs geothermal heating and cooling, as well as an 18-hole award-winning golf course which uses significantly less pesticides, herbicides and water than a typical golf course.
Rob, the proud owner of a 1971 Porsche 911 E Targa, is a NAACC certified Judge and recently judged at the Arizona Concours d’Elegance, The Hershey Elegance, Concours of America, Crescent Beach Concours Hilton Head Concours and others. Rob also won the NAACC Hobbyist of the year award in 2014.

WILLIAM ARMSTRONG
Judge
WILLIAM ARMSTRONG
My wife Patricia Godschalk and I live on a small farm near Jordan Station, ON where we produce peaches, plums, nectarines and pears. We also grow an assortment of vegetables. A lot of what we produce is sold at the farmers market and some is sold on a vendors run through Southern Ontario.
I also own and operate a trucking company with refrigerated and flatbed service throughout Canada and USA. My real passion is collecting and restoring older vehicles and in particular Dodge and Fargo trucks. Being in the transportation business has allowed me the opportunity to deliver a load of freight in the same region where the old vehicles I have sourced are. I simply load them on a return trip. This has gone on for 30 years!! I look forward to my continued involvement with NAACC using the knowledge and skills that I have assembled during my many years in this hobby.
The NAACC helps to protect the legacy of where the vehicles have come from so that future generations will be allowed a glimpse into the past. I am pleased to be an Ontario NAACC Director. In 2015 one of my show winning trucks was graced with a win at the Cobble Beach Concours. I am an NAACC judge and look forward to participating in the Cobble Beach Concours again this year.

MORLEY MCDONALD
Judge
GEOFFREY MCLEESE
Morley McDonald was born in Calgary, AB. His dad was a career military officer. He had the pleasure of living in several cities. One in particular, Washington, D.C., which was his introduction to old cars. It mattered not whether the car was a custom, stock, hotrod or just a beater, he loved them all.
Living in Maryland and Virginia, he had access to racing. This became a weekend
event. With Martinsville being just hours away and several drag strips even closer,
weekends could not come soon enough. While living in Maryland, he became friends with the White family, particularly, Rex White who was NASCAR Champion in 1960.
That was an amazing time for Morley. After seven years, he ended up in Winnipeg
where he began his police career which ended in Victoria BC many years later. He became involved in production of forestry seedlings and later in the trucking industry.
Since living in Penticton BC he has been involved with Vintage Car Club of
Canada and currently serves as Governor and NAACC Rep to the Province of BC.
Morley is a National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada National Judge.
