Junior Judging Program

The Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance, in partnership with Hagerty, hosts a Junior Judging Program!

Hagerty launched it's Junior Judging Program, now featured at over 100 classic car and boat events across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Designed for ages 7 to 18, this program introduces young enthusiasts to classic cars in a fun, interactive way. Young judges will be guided in groups to pre-selected show cars, engaging with owners to learn about each vehicle's history and features. The younger group, ages 7 to 12, will be using a simplified scorecard and will rate the cars on a scale of 1 to 5. The older group, ages 13-18, will be utilizing a scorecard similar to what our esteemed judges use on the show field with the Concours vehicles. Those interested in presenting the first-place trophy can meet at the Hagerty Tent.

Please note that Junior Judges and their parent(s) are required to purchase tickets to the Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance to participate in the Junior Judging Program and attend Sunday’s event.

Program Schedule:

10:00 am Participants meet at the Hagerty Booth

Judging briefing: We will go through judging basics and discuss ‘rules of the road’

10:15 am All judges on show field, begin judging

The judges will walk with a Hagerty guide to each car, talk to the vehicle owner and evaluate based on the judging criteria. Parents are encouraged to join us.

11:15 am Finish Judging and Tabulate Results

There will be a few minutes of down time while we finish tabulating our results. Parents and judges are encouraged to stick around to prepare for the awards ceremony.

12:30 pm Junior judges meet at Hagerty tent on show field for photo opportunity with Junior Judging winners

Approximately 2:45 pm Announce winners of the Junior Judging trophies within Awards Ceremony

Judges who wish to participate in the presentation of the awards will meet at the Hagerty Tent at 2:30 pm and present 1st place award.

Thank you for your interest in participating in Hagerty Junior Judging. We are pleased to have you included in the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

We give our consent for our child to participate in Hagerty Junior Judging (the “Program”), and agree to the following:

We understand that our child and/or ourselves may be photographed and/or videotaped by Hagerty and/or Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance (defined below), its agents, and/or the media during our child’s participation in the Program. On behalf of our child and ourselves, we grant the Hagerty and/or Cobble Beach

Concours d’Elegance permission to copyright, use, and/or publish our own or our child’s name, and/or photographs or pictures submitted to Hagerty or taken by Hagerty in which our own or our child’s voice, image, likeness or appearance is featured. We understand and agree that we do not have any right to any compensation in connection with Hagerty’s or and/or Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance’s use of our own or our child’s name, voice, image likeness or appearance in connection with the Program.

We agree on behalf of ourselves, our child, and for our heirs, executors and administrators, to release, hold harmless, and not to institute any claim against Hagerty LLC and/or Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance and its related and affiliated entities, and their respective owners, officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives (collectively referred to herein as “Hagerty” and “Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance”), for any and all damages (including consequential, incidental and punitive damages), liability, losses, costs, taxes, expenses, and/or legal fees whatsoever arising from or in connection with our own or our child’s participation in the Program. This includes, without limitation, claims based on personal injury, wrongful death, emotional distress, property damage, conversion, libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy/publicity, portrayal in a false light, any claim relating to the exercise of the rights granted above, and any other claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to our child’s participation in the Program.
