The Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance, in partnership with Hagerty, is proud to host the Hagerty Junior Judging Program!

Designed for young automotive enthusiasts ages 7 to 18, the Junior Judging Program offers a fun, interactive opportunity to experience the Concours from a judge’s perspective. Now featured at more than 100 classic car and boat events across the U.S., Canada and the U.K., the program introduces the next generation of enthusiasts to the history, craftsmanship and stories behind some of the world’s most exceptional collector vehicles.

Junior Judges will be divided into age groups and guided by a Hagerty representative to a selection of show cars. Along the way, they’ll meet vehicle owners, learn about each car’s history and features, and evaluate the vehicles using their own judging scorecards.

• Ages 7–12: Junior Judges will use a simplified scorecard and rate each vehicle on a scale of 1 to 5.
• Ages 13–18: Junior Judges will use a scorecard modelled after the criteria used by our Concours judges on the show field.

Program Schedule:

• 10:00 AM: Meet at the Hagerty Booth
  Judging Briefing: Review the basics of judging and discuss the “rules of the road” before heading onto the show field.
  
  
• 10:15 AM: Judging Begins
  Junior Judges will head onto the show field with a Hagerty guide, visit the selected vehicles, speak with owners and evaluate each car based on the judging criteria.
  
  
• 11:15 AM: Judging Concludes & Results Tabulated
  Results will be tabulated while Junior Judges and their parents have some downtime before the awards presentation.
  
  
• 12:30 PM: Junior Judges Meet at the Hagerty Tent
  Junior Judges will gather at the Hagerty Tent on the show field for a photo opportunity with the Junior Judging winners.
  
  
• Approximately 2:45 PM: Junior Judging Awards
  Junior Judging winners will be announced during the Concours Awards Ceremony. Junior Judges who wish to participate in presenting the awards should meet at the Hagerty Tent at 2:30 PM.

Please note: Junior Judges and their parent(s) are required to purchase tickets to the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance in order to participate in the program and attend Sunday’s event. Parents are encouraged to join their children throughout the judging experience.
